A fantastic opportunity for a Production Manager has arisen at our site in Farningham to help lead our team at Watts Farms Packers Ltd.

What does the job involve?

This role is responsible for managing daily production and communication within the Packhouse department working closely alongside the Packhouse Manager.

Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and food legislation standards
Leading and developing the packhouse operations team

Key Skills / Experience

Dependable and self-motivated
Strong communication skills
Reliable and efficient with the willingness to learn
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Experience leading a team
Due to the location of this role, a driving licence is essential
Experience working with fresh produce is desirable

Working hours

48 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. Start and finish times will vary. Flexibility will be required.

Watts Farms is a third-generation family run business. We grow fresh produce, which is picked and packed on site, with our head office based in Farningham, Kent.

Our production sites are based in Kent and include organic land, polytunnels and modern glasshouses. We are specialist growers, who over the years have developed both growing techniques and varieties to provide our customers with the best quality and flavour.
